Mission Statement
"Our purpose is to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency, and to conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community." Membership is open to licensed amateurs. Associate membership is open to those engaged in a class leading to an amateur radio license.
ARTAS & ARES Temporary Simplex Nets!
The nets will be run on 147.520 Mhz (Simplex) as of Fri Mar 5, 2010!
We have been attempting to run the nets on 146.520 Mhz but will migrate from that frequency over the next few days. We selected this frequency due to it being a common frequency on almost any transciever and was a convenient selection after the initial repeater outage.
